Two Days Sick

I have been sick for two days, so I couldn't update about the progress that has happened. However, now I have recovered and I am grateful for that. Alhamdulillah.

On this occasion, I would like to congratulate those who have successfully passed the LPDP selection. For those who haven't, I hope they would get another opportunity with greater ease.

Next year is a year full of efforts for me. Together with all ordinary citizens, I will prepare myself well to compete with the great CPNS and LPDP participants.

Nostalgia with Father

Today begin with an unexpect call from my father. His voice sounded cheerful, though tired. “This is my work, clearing two rows of pepper plants,” he said in his distinct Konjo accent, which always reminds me of Tawau. I smiled as I listened. Father spoke while asking for prayers to always be blessed with health. Despite his age, his spirit for farming remains strong. He is currently planting pepper, a crop that has become our family’s daily source of livelihood. Hearing his story warmed my heart. I was reminded of my childhood, when I often helped him on the farm, though I usually played more than worked. Now, being far from Tawau, those memories feel so close. In return, I took photos and videos of my activities as a rider today, delivering orders from one place to another. I wanted him to know that I, too, work hard, albeit in a different path. I sent him the photos and videos, hoping to cheer him up and show that I have never forgotten the values of hard work he instilled in me. I ...

N i0 q i l The recent two-day visit of U.S. President Donald Trump to China concluded without the announcement of any major agreement capable of significantly reshaping the global geopolitical landscape. Several international media outlets even described the visit as “underwhelming,” citing the absence of substantial economic or strategic breakthroughs made public. Yet evaluating diplomacy solely through investment figures, trade contracts, or military strength often causes us to overlook a far more important dimension: symbols, history, and the psychology of civilization. This marked Trump’s second visit to China as president. The first took place in 2017, when Washington–Beijing relations were still relatively stable and the trade war had not yet fully escalated. Since then, relations between the two powers have transformed dramatically. Technological rivalry, tariff disputes, struggles for influence in the Middle East, and competition for global dominance have made U....

In Solitude

Today, the atmosphere in the factory feels so quiet. Ever since I checked the electrical currents, this place has become very empty. Imagine, the warehouse that has been standing since 1993, I only started to dismantle it today. I'm busy sorting through and reviewing items that can be reused or recycled. After ensuring the safety of the electrical aspects, I hope the machines are still in good condition. The presence of three workers today, namely Mr. Japri, Irfan, and myself, must work hard to achieve the target as soon as possible. In a maximum of two weeks, hopefully, this goal can be realized with Allah's permission. However, earlier, I was truly surprised when I heard cries of pain. I thought it was the sound of pain from my coworker, Irfan, who was working. The cries of pain sounded like a machine getting stuck or someone getting injured. Without hesitation, I immediately rushed to the sound and checked on Irfan. But when I arrived at the scene, nothing was happening. The...
