A Lesson in Humility
Going through a day filled with blessings is, in itself, a gift worth being grateful for. For me, Friday is a day to rest. After several exhausting days, I sometimes choose not to push myself too hard. I take the time to slow down, to check my motorcycle, clean the house, or simply stay home and enjoy a quiet moment. When I start to feel boring, I may occasionally turn my driver account back on and return to the road to earn a living. We do not always have to chase everything at once. There is a time to work, and there is also a time to pause and rest. But what touch me most today is the Friday sermon at Raodatul Jannah Mosque. The sermon remind me of something we often fail to recognize, our human ego. Sometimes, we think we are better than others.We feel smarter. More successful. More experienced. More charitable.
