Boycott

Boycotting McDonald's as a form of resistance against Israel further highlights how vulnerable our current position is. We are so weak in various aspects that we are willing to seek anything that can make us feel comfortable and temporarily forget the fact that such actions bring more negative than positive consequences.

Countries like the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, and some other European nations firmly support Israel, including in terms of military assistance. We acknowledge this reality, but we feel powerless.

Therefore, we look for the easiest path, one that doesn't pose difficulties for us, in order to find momentary relief, as if when we do something. The spirit to help the Palestinian people burns within us, but when fellow Muslims are adversely affected by our own actions, we easily say, "sustenance is as vast as the sky."

In my view, boycotting McDonald's merely reflects our powerlessness. I apologize if anyone feels offended. This is just the perspective of someone who can't remember the last time I ate at McDonald's.
