Inspiration from Rembayung

Today, I read about Khairul Aming’s journey in opening his first restaurant, Rembayung—a RM4 million investment that began on an empty plot of land, a place many once believed could never become anything meaningful.

What inspires me even more is that KA built all of this after spending 10 years navigating the online world. The ups and downs, trials and failures—all of them shaped the courage that eventually led him to step confidently into the offline space.

This story reminded me of one important truth: in business, success never happens overnight. It is built slowly, strengthened by experience, patience, and a solid foundation before someone can rise to the next level.

As someone still taking small steps in the online business world, KA’s story gives me new motivation. It reminds me of the importance of consistency, discipline, and trusting the process. One day, when my time arrives, I hope to step onto a bigger stage too—just as Rembayung now stands as a symbol of KA’s journey.

For now, I continue my small steps. Because every great dream… always begins with a single step we dare to take.
