Day 6 in Makassar
Today marks the sixth day of my stay in Makassar. So far, the process of adapting has been quite smooth, although it was initially challenging to adjust. Thanks to the support and presence of my siblings Nasir, Rasid, and Haida, everything has become much easier.
After eight years of not setting foot on this land, I can truly see many changes. There was a time in the past when I had decided not to return here, but it turns out that my longing for this place ran much deeper than I realized.
Today, I decided to change the routine I’ve been living. Previously, my days were filled with 12 hours of nonstop work, but now I’ve replaced it with 12 hours of nonstop learning. Reading and immersing myself in various topics feels so refreshing, as if giving new meaning to my days here.
