Happy Malaysia Day 2023!

Malaysia is known for its ethnic and cultural diversity, making it a unique place where various cultures and religions can coexist. Delicious dishes such as Nasi Lemak, Roti Canai, Char Kway Teow, and Laksa serve as evidence of the gastronomic delights that can be found in Malaysia.

Additionally, Malaysia is renowned for its stable economy which has made rapid progress in economic development. As a country with a majority Muslim population, the influence of Islam plays an important role in Malaysian culture, politics, and daily life.

Malaysia Day also reminds us of Tunku Abdul Rahman, a skilled diplomat who successfully fought for Malaya's independence from British rule in 1957. Tunku Abdul Rahman is also known for his ability to build consensus among different ethnic and political groups in Malaya, as well as his commitment to a moderate approach in issues related to ethnic relations.

Moreover, Tunku Abdul Rahman had a strong international network and was a talented orator who could influence the public opinion and world leaders through his speeches. All of these skills were instrumental in gaining international support for the formation of Malaysia.

Happy Malaysia Day, may Malaysia's diversity and progress continue to be its unique and attractive characteristic for visitors.
