First Condolence & UTC 2024
The memory of my beloved uncle's passing still lingers in my mind, as he left us earlier. His loss made me reflect and reconsider the direction of my life. How long will I keep chasing a career while the distance between us grows wider? This was my initial reflection as I began to question my life's priorities.
I once heard that someone who migrates, especially from Sulawesi, often ends up settling in their new place until the end of their life. I remember many of them growing old and passing away far from their homeland. This perspective made me think deeply.
Today is also the culmination of the UTC 2024 program. Perhaps this is the last program I will participate in as a student. After this, I want to return to my hometown. Even though the consequence might be a lower income, the time spent with family and the opportunity to be closer to worship are the most important things for me. With full confidence, I am determined to go back.
