Embassy Affairs

Today, I continued my duties of managing and advocating for Indonesian children in Malaysia to ensure they receive their rightful entitlements. As someone born here, I deeply understand their situation.

I experienced two emotions during my embassy visit yesterday—sadness and happiness.

The sadness came when there was an issue with the payment process via Touch 'n Go e-wallet. My balance was deducted, but the Embassy had not received the payment. This caused me to wait until 2 PM. Before 2, the queue had already started, but I was fortunate to meet Puan Nor Zana, the officer at counter 15, who was very kind. She suggested I go home and promised to contact me if there were any updates. Alhamdulillah, this was the good news. It turns out there are still humble and kind staff like her at the Embassy. Usually, the embassy officers are so busy they forget to smile or engage in small talk.

I also met Kak Farah, a former staff officer at Stellar Film, at the Embassy. It turns out she had some business there as well.

After finishing at the Embassy, I returned to Klang and arrived home around 5 PM. At 6:30 PM, I headed to work for my night shift.
