ZH Success, IPD Klang Utara, and Kajian IPMI Port Klang
Last Wednesday, I had the opportunity to meet directly with Boss Zack at ZH Success. This meeting held deep meaning for me, as after almost 4 years and 10 months working together, our journey will soon come to an end on December 10, 2024. During the meeting, I expressed my gratitude for all the opportunities and lessons I have gained. Boss Zack has been more than just a supervisor; he has been a mentor who has, both directly and indirectly, shaped my perspective in the professional world. Working with him every day, I learned not only about discipline and hard work but also the importance of paying attention to small details that can affect the quality of work. He taught me to always seek solutions in every challenge faced. With my time at ZH Success nearing its end, I hope to apply all the knowledge he has shared with me in my future career and daily life.
Meanwhile, last Friday, I accompanied two friends whom I have been assisting in advocacy at IPD Klang Utara. Both of them, who faced a difficult situation after becoming victims of street robbery, finally saw a glimmer of hope after they had the chance to meet directly with Mr. Hakimi, a committee member at IPD Port Klang. The incident not only caused emotional trauma but also resulted in a significant loss, as their passports were stolen, complicating their situation even further. As migrant workers, losing essential documents like passports is a serious matter as it can impact their work and life in Malaysia. The meeting with Mr. Hakimi brought new hope, as he attentively listened to and understood their situation. We hope that IPD will provide a fair solution and facilitate the process of restoring their situation. Hopefully, this marks the beginning of a resolution to their problems, providing them with peace of mind after going through challenging times.
Additionally, the weekly study organized by IPMI Port Klang went smoothly and was filled with meaning. This week’s study theme was “The Primary Purpose of Marriage According to Islam,” held at Surau Darul Muhibbah, Bayu Perdana Klang. This event was highly anticipated as marriage is a popular topic, especially among those who want to understand the meaning of marriage from a religious perspective. Ustadz M. Talhah al Mumtazy Bin Tunggul Wahidin Soekarno, who led the session, conveyed the material with wisdom. He explained that in Islam, marriage is not merely a legal bond between two individuals but also a trust that must be carefully upheld. Ustadz Talhah emphasized that the primary purpose of marriage in Islam is to attain peace of heart and establish sakinah (tranquility), mawaddah (affection), and rahmah (sincere compassion) within the family. Through marriage, a Muslim is expected to build a family that can foster love, respect, and obedience to Allah. His presence brought inspiration to the audience, who were visibly enthusiastic and actively asked questions to deepen their understanding of the noble values of marriage according to Islamic teachings.
