Learning from the Streets

Not all life lessons are derived from textbooks or formal classroom settings. At times, the most profound insights emerge from simple conversations—perhaps while waiting for an order or speaking with a passenger whose life experience far exceeds my own.

As a ride-hailing driver, I have come to understand that personal growth and development require just three essential elements: ears that are willing to listen, a heart that is open to receiving, and a mind that is ready to process and reflect.

One should never underestimate the value of a seemingly trivial exchange. A single wise sentence from an elder can offer the very direction we have long been seeking in life.

Today, I am remind that learning extends far beyond theoretical knowledge. It is equally—if not more—about surviving, adapting, and evolving in the realities of everyday life. We are all growing together, not only in intellect, but also in resilience, mutual support, and lived wisdom.
