Inspiration from Nasir’s New Motorcycle

Today, I learned a lot from my younger brother, Nasir, and the people around me. Watching Nasir successfully own a motorcycle through his efforts, without any help from the family, was such a proud moment. He has shown that independence is not just a word, but a real action that requires hard work and determination.

His new motorcycle is a symbol of his struggles and achievements. It reminds me of the importance of giving someone the space to grow, make their own decisions, and take responsibility for their choices. Nasir has proven that he can stand firmly on his own, and that, as his older sibling, is a source of pride for me.

Earlier today, I had a long conversation with Dedi from Finance Adira. For almost two hours, we shared stories, discussing the twists and turns of the financial world and life experiences. That conversation opened a new perspective for me: everyone has their own struggles, and hard work is the key to shaping oneself. Both Nasir and Dedi are reflections of dedication and perseverance that deserve to be an inspiration.

To celebrate today, I decided to explore the city of Makassar from Zuhr until close to Isha. This city is full of memories, and this simple journey gave me time to reflect. Masya Allah, I realize that I am not as strong as I used to be. In the past, long trips to and from Toraja on a motorcycle were nothing unusual for me. But now, my body reminds me that every phase of life comes with its own limitations.

Today, I am grateful for the life lessons that Allah has entrusted to me through the people around me. Nasir’s story and my conversation with Dedi taught me that in every struggle, there is pride, wisdom, and blessings to be cherished. May tomorrow bring new lessons that continue to enrich our lives.
