The Wisdom Behind Calamities

Today, I reading about the wildfires in Los Angeles reminds us of the trials of life that come in various forms. Thousands of people are forced to leave their homes, seek temporary shelter, and face the uncertainty of their future. However, amidst all this, they still have the chance to escape, to be rescued, and to receive aid.

But what about our brothers and sisters in Gaza? There, options are almost nonexistent. Staying in place could lead to death, let alone trying to flee. Truly, this is a profound lesson for us to reflect upon.

In times like these, we place our trust solely in Allah. Hasbunallah wanikman wakil, wanikman maula wanikman nasir. Sufficient is Allah as our protector, the best helper, and the best granter of victory.

Calamities teach us to be grateful for the peace we often take for granted and to pray for those who are being tested. May Allah protect those in need and grant us the strength to continue doing good deeds.
